For my final Ina meal for the week I made Scott's Ribs which I accompanied with Garlic Mashed potatoes and Rolls. They were not only delicious to eat but they made the house smell amazing for the whole day!
First I had a lot of meat (the boneless was for my mom)....
The final Product...
Country Fried.
I've grown up around great cooks and have been a fan of quality food my entire life. I don't think I ever ordered off the kids menu because I wasn't having a hot dog when I could have a steak and I wasn't having mac n cheese unless there was lobster in it! (Something that has not changed a bit) This blog is my journey into the culinary world with a home-style flair.

Ina Round 2.
As we are all very well aware of, plans change and you don't always have time to cook what you intended. So I took the leftover meatballs from day 2 and made an Italian inspired filling for some delicious calizones made with pie crust.
Day 3 of the Ina Experience.

Another fun night with Ina. (Day 2)
Tonight’s menu included Ina's "Real Spaghetti & Meatballs", garlic
bread, and my own recipe for country fired corn! For dessert was Ina's amazing
coconut macaroons. It was a great cooking experience! I will say that Ina's meatballs
and spaghetti are not a quick cook but they are well worth the effort:)

Day One of the Ina Experience.
Day one was a success! On the menu tonight was Curry Chicken Salad, Parmesan Asparagus, and to finish off the night a recipe I invented myself Drunken Apple Pie with Ina's Rum whipped Cream.
Enjoy...
Stay Classy!

Starting things off right.
I decided in order to start my blog off right I should start with a tribute to someone who inspires me as a cook. Ina Garten would be that person. If you have seen even one episode of her show you will see she is down to earth and one of the classiest women I know! This coming week (starting Monday) I will be cooking dinner out of Ina's book "Barefoot Contessa: Family Style." I've planned the menu and decided to share it with you:)
